How did you hear about this project?
I heard about this project from my daughter, Neeti who is also associated with 99 Women.
What convinced you to participate?
The coming together of 99 women and their stories. All of us working in synchronization to create something new, something beautiful and epic.
What kind of woman are you?
I am a strong woman, ready to take on everything that comes my way. I truly believe we all have a destiny to fulfill and we should make the best of all that life offers us. I feel every woman has the capacity to do everything she wants to, and nothing can stop her once she has made up her mind. I have often thrown caution to the wind, done things on an impulse and never regretted it. And all I need to get me going is one good cup of tea.
How do you see the women in Pune?
I find the women of Pune beautifully balance tradition and modern independence. They have always been in the forefront of social change and are some of the most culturally aware. Puneri women are dynamic, go-getters and have managed to keep alive traditional values without letting them take over. They create opportunities for themselves wherever they go.
